Simon Bracken has worked as an actor throughout Canada, the United States, and Great Britain.  Highlights include roles with the Stratford Festival, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Toronto Young People's Theatre, and the Coal Mine Theatre.  His association with Punctuate! began in 2019, when he played the role of Gordon in Matthew MacKenzie's "The Particulars" in Toronto and Edmonton, and continued into the pandemic in Punctuate's inaugural Playwrighting Unit.  His own play, "What I'm Thinking About When You're Lying on the Ground", co-created with Brendan McMurtry-Howlett and Philip Nozuka, premiered at the Rhubarb Festival in Toronto. A film version is in pre-production.  Simon is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada and the University of Manitoba.
