Thomas Olajide

Thomas Antony Olajide is a Canadian Screen Award, Two-Time Dora Mavor Moore Award nominated actor of screen and stage, and a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada.
His theatrical work has taken him across Canada, and would eventually lead him to the Stratford Festival for two seasons, namely, in King Lear and Hamlet, for which he was presented the Peter Donaldson award for great skill in Shakespeare and the Classics by the festival's artistic Director. Thomas has also had the privilege of being nominated twice for the Dora Mavor Moore awards, Toronto's equivalent of the Tonys.
To date, Thomas has amassed a significant body of work including Mariner (2016 TIFF Top Ten Official Selection and 2021 TIFF Black Future Selection), Inhuman Condition (2017 Canadian Screen Award Nominee for Best Digital Program), and White Lie (2020 TIFF Official Selection and Canadian Screen Award Nominee for Best Picture). Thomas has also recently appeared in the French-Language Québécois television series Les Nomades II, a recurring role for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the 2020 Prix Gémeaux.
